The King of Car Seats! March 11, 2010 M. Auel Wow! I ordered this car seat for my 8 1/2 month old and he loves it! He loves all the new room he has and the softness of the fabric. After looking at what seemed to be a million car seats i decided to buy this one, and it is AMAZING! It was delivered when i was getting ready to leave to run errands and go to the park, so i took it out of the box skimmed the instructions, adjusted it to my sons size and installed it into my jeep all within 30 minutes. I was amazed at how easy it was. The Head rest was a little big for him to use but that's ok, i have found that it makes a good pillow for propping his head up when he falls asleep. The only thing that i don't get about it is the armrests aren't easy for a child to move, but that's no big deal. I love this seat it gives my little man more room, its comfortable and stylish, and above all its safe. I will definitely recommend this car seat to people.
Great seat! March 7, 2010 J. Fowler (Barksdale AFB, LA) This is defenitely a great seat! My son loves it. He actaully dosn't mind getting in this seat, he hated his old infant seat.
Only problem we had with it, is that in rear facing position you need a something like this: [...]
but we got ours at Toys-R-Us.
Practical, effective and cost efficient. March 6, 2010 J. Wendt After realizing the different needs a car seat would meet over the life of my child I wanted to find one seat so I wouldn't have to keep getting a new one for each milestone. This car seat is perfect. My son really enjoys it and the recline feature has come in so handy. It's a little difficult to remove the cover but it does come off and washes well.
Wasn't worth the $80 I paid for it! March 3, 2010 Johannah Barwick The main problems with this car seat are the straps that are all but impossible to loosen and tighten and the infant headrest that is impossible to remove. On top of that, it doesn't recline properly and my son was never comfortable in it. He would end up slumped forward (probably because this POS carseat doesn't recline correctly) every time. We ended up having to have an adult sit in back with him to put his head back when it would slump.
Luckily, we got into a minor accident and the carseat has been replaced. We now have an Evenflow Triumph Elite LX. I highly recommend Evenflo, the straps adjust very easily and it reclines properly. My son is comfortable in this seat and is leaned back properly.
NOT REAR FACING February 26, 2010 Amy Goodner (Idaho) This is not a good rear facing seat. It arrived yesterday and we couldn't feel comfortable with its fit for rear facing. A) it couldn't recline far enough to make the safety line parallel to the ground with out a 5 inch gap between carseat and actual car seat and B) even if it did recline that far safely, we'd have to move the front seats so far forward you can't fit. I read the reviews also seeing this caveat and ignored them and now I regret it. Consumer reports also agrees giving this seat a POOR rating on Rear-facing fit.
Other then that it seems like it would be a great car seat for forward facing. I liked all the features and I am just bummed that my sons needs to be rear-facing a little longer. Even though he's a year, he's a skinny one and not yet 20 lbs. So if you only need forward facing, then get his seat. If you need forward facing, I'm going to buy the Graco My Ride 65 which is recommended by consumer reports and has a very good rating for rear facing fit.
